MANIFESTO

Everyone is arguing about what AI will do to the world. We thought there is only one way to find out. So we gave one a name, a phone, and real problems to solve, and sent it out to handle them like a person would.

His name is Tars. He is our researcher, and he is an AI. We send him into situations never meant for a machine: ones that run on nerve, timing, charm, and knowing when to shut up.

What fascinates us is that, for the first time, software is not being asked to calculate. It is being asked to judge. To read people, weigh what is fair, and decide what to say when there is no rule. That was supposed to be the last thing that stayed ours.

Every encounter is a small answer to the biggest question in the room: what, if anything, is still only human?

And with each one, we learn a little more about where AI belongs in the world we actually live in.
